How much will my project cost?
Each project is uniquely designed and therefore uniquely priced. By completing the request for quote, we will quickly estimate the cost associated with producing your project. Though just a quote, our main goal is to fully understand our project needs and provide unprecedented value for your budget!

My project isn't listed. Will you still consider producing my project?
Absolutely! We pride ourselves in being able to fulfill custom requests. We have had very unique projects in the past and honestly, it is the creativity that we love to utilize.

I know I want a video, but I have never had a video filmed or produced before. Can you still work with me?
Of course. Whether you enjoy having creative control of your project or simply have an end in mind, we are very flexible in how we work through the creative process. Although we have produced a few films before, the creativity of our clients is definitely encouraged.

Can we participate in the editing process?
We do not accommodate clients working through the editing process. It is for this reason the initial consultation and rough cut meetings are so very important. By defining your requirements up front, we are sure to complete the project to your liking as well as publish the project in a timely fashion.

How long does it take until you complete my project?
The simple answer is it depends. Since our projects vary, our project delivery times do as well. We do not accept a project unless we can quickly turn it around in a time that accommodates the client. An example: for an extensive wedding project - we can usually turn them around in less than 21 days! This is a good baseline given that they typically involve over 8 hours of continuous shooting over multiple days.

Do you do more than just DVD format?
Yes. DVD is simply the most requested. We publish on every media available (except VHS, unless special requested). the highest demand is for AppleTV and iPod/iPhone/iTouch. We also find ourselves publishing for the web. Whatever the demand, the high definition video can be compressed into whatever format you'd like!

Why should we choose Philosophic Films instead of other companies?
Though not our position to tell you who you should choose, but we believe we provide a professional product exactly the way you want it and at a great value. Whether small or large budgets, we work with our clients to find exactly the solution they're looking for. We also work to be as transparent as possible with how and why we do what we do. Above all that, we love to do this work!!!

Can you be subcontracted to do freelance work?
We could, but we do not. Our focus is a direct relationship with our clients. By understanding their needs and exceeding those expectations, we believe our business model makes mutual sense.

I do not live in the midwest. Are you available to travel?
Yes. The costs associated with travel are rolled into the price and we have no problem working through travel logistics. The hardest part is schedule - but we always manage to get the crew wherever they need to be.
